Wilhelm Max Muller
Wilhelm Max Müller (born May 15, 1862 in Gleißenberg ; † July 12, 1919 in Wildwood Beach (New Jersey) ) was a German-American orientalist and lexicographer . After studying in Germany, the son of the famous Indologist Friedrich Max Müller moved to the United States in 1888 . He taught Egyptology at the University of Pennsylvania . He was also a collaborator and editor of the Hebrew and Aramaic Concise Dictionary on the Old Testament by Wilhelm Gesenius , the Encyclopaedia Biblica and the Jewish Encyclopedia . In July 1919 he died in an accident in Wildwood, New Jersey.
