Wilhelm Mohrbotter (politician)

Wilhelm Mohrbotter (born April 28, 1875 in Hanover , † November 12, 1943 in Schwarmstedt ) was a German master locksmith and local politician. As a member of the German-Hanover Party (DHP) he was from 1921 to 1932 a member of the Prussian state parliament for constituency 16 South Hanover.

Life

After attending the community school, Mohrbotter completed an apprenticeship as a master craftsman at the art school and ran his own business as a master locksmith. He was chairman of the Hanover-Linden District Craftsmen's Association and a member of the board of directors of imperial and local craft organizations. He belonged to the citizen college of Hanover.

In the Prussian state parliament of the 1st electoral period, he and four DHP members were a permanent guest of the center until May 21, 1924 ; During the second electoral term, the six DHP members had joined forces with the members of the German SME Economic Party to form the Economic Association .

Mohrbotter represented the interests of the DHP in the parliamentary group executive committee and belonged to the committee for trade and industry. In the Prussian state parliament of the 3rd electoral period from 1928 to 1932, he represented his party as one of five DHP members on the executive committee of the German parliamentary group (DF), which on June 8, 1928 consisted of the DHP, CNBLP , Völkisch-Nationalem Block and Reichspartei für People's Law and Appreciation had formed, and was one of the two group leaders. In addition, he was a voting member for the DF in the Council of Elders, a member of the Committee for Trade and Industry and the Committee for Procurement.
