Wilhelm Schleicher (politician)

Wilhelm Schleicher (born May 15, 1810 in Korbach , † January 24, 1890 in Pyrmont ) was a German civil servant and politician .

Schleicher was the son of the conductor Johannes Schleicher and his wife Katharina Friederike nee Böhne. He married Marie Caroline Wilhelmine Hartmann on December 10, 1837 in Korbach. Schleicher became a special collector in the Eisenberg district in 1833 . From 1850 he was Kreisrentmeister in Korbach and in 1857 Kreisrentmeister in Pyrmont. In 1873 he became an accountant there.

From 1860 to 1864 he was a member of the special state parliament for the Principality of Pyrmont . From 1849 to November 19, 1850 (VII constituency, successor was Carl Waldeck ), 1855 to 1859 (constituency of Eisenberg ) and again from 1860 to 1866 (constituency of Pyrmont ) he was a member of the state parliament of the Principality of Waldeck-Pyrmont .
