Wilhelm Schulte (politician)
Wilhelm (Willy) Schulte (born July 26, 1904 in Bad Salzuflen , † October 12, 1948 in Schöningen ) was a German politician ( SPD ).
Schulte was the son of a master locksmith. He attended elementary school and also trained as a locksmith. Schulte, who was of the Protestant denomination, was married. He lived as a heating fitter in Ehrsen (Lippe). In the state election in Lippe in 1929 , he ran for 12th place on the SPD list and was not elected. In 1933 he ran at number 11 on the list. On May 29, 1933, he replaced August Linne in the state parliament. At this point, after the seizure of power the elected member of parliament for the SPD refused entry to the Parliament of the Nazis. When the SPD was banned in the Reich on June 22, 1933 and in Lippe on June 23, 1933, he formally lost his mandate in the state parliament.
