Wilhelm Specht (businessman)

Wilhelm Specht (born February 19, 1910 in Castrop-Rauxel ; † July 12, 1986 ) was a German entrepreneur , businessman and association official.

Life

Wilhelm Specht studied economics (Dipl.-Kfm.) At the University of Cologne from 1935 to 1939 . He was a soldier in World War II from 1939 to 1942, while running a management consultancy in Berlin.

From 1945 to 1950 Specht was managing director of Getreide-Handelsges. mbH in Duisburg. In 1950 he founded the Getreide-Import-Gesellschaft mbH in Duisburg and was its managing director. He was also chairman of the grain and goods exchange Rhein-Ruhr Duisburg-Essen eV in Duisburg. He was chairman of the management of the Rheinisch-Westfälischer Grain Dealers eV in Dortmund. Specht was a board member of the Federal Association of Wholesale, Foreign Trade, Services in Bonn.

In 1968 Wilhelm Specht was appointed Knight of the Order of Knights of the Holy Sepulcher in Jerusalem by Cardinal Grand Master Eugène Cardinal Tisserant and invested in the order on December 12, 1968 in the Milan Cathedral . He was Kollar Knight al merito of the order.

He was married to Elisabeth born. Rhombeck.
