Wilhelm Stülten

Wilhelm Stülten (born November 26, 1902 in Bützfleth ; † February 10, 1972 in Stade ) was a German politician ( DP , CDU ) and a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament .

Life

Stülten comes from a farming family that can be traced back to the 16th century. He attended elementary school from 1908 to 1917 and then began an apprenticeship as a retail salesman in the textile industry from 1917 to 1920 in Altenbruch near Cuxhaven. He then attended business school for a period of three years and successfully passed the final exam. From 1920 to 1924 he worked as a commercial assistant in Mecklenburg and Pomerania. He then worked as an independent retailer from 1924 to 1935. From 1935 he was employed in a wholesale business selling haberdashery and stationery in Stade. Stülten was a board member of the Chamber of Commerce in Stade . He was also a board member of the Lower Saxony Wholesale Association in Hanover.

He was a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament for the second electoral period from April 17, 1953 to May 5, 1955.
