Wilhelm Türk (hematologist)

Wilhelm Türk (born April 2, 1871 in Alt-Ebersdorf , Silesia , † May 20, 1916 in Vienna ) was an Austrian hematologist .

Life

Wilhelm Türk was a son of the surgeon and politician Karl Türk . He studied internal medicine with Edmund von Neusser and received his doctorate from the University of Vienna in 1895 . In 1903 he completed his habilitation and became a professor at the University of Vienna.

The Turkic stimulus forms and the Turkic chamber are named after him.

During his studies he became a member of the Association of German Students from Silesia Oppavia in the Waidhofen Association .
