Wilhelm Tettauer
Wilhelm Tettauer von Tettau (* after 1437; † 1498 ) was a military leader from the Tettau family who fought as a field captain alongside Matthias Corvinus against Austria .
Wilhelm Tettauer von Tettau comes from the Moravian branch of the family, his father was probably Johann (* 1437).
He was appointed supreme leader of the Black Army and was involved in the siege of Hainburg , Vienna and the siege of Wiener Neustadt . Later the Tettauer Schanze was built , from which Steyr was attacked.
