Wilhelm Hans Gottlieb Conrad Freiherr von Zedlitz und Neukirch (born January 19, 1786 ; † January 30, 1862 ) was a Prussian administrative officer and politician .

Life

Wilhelm von Zedlitz-Neukirch was the son of Otto Friedrich Konrad Freiherr von Zedlitz and Neukirch († July 28, 1820) and his wife Barbara Luise Wilhelmine nee Freiin von Kottwitz. He married on June 8, 1809 Molly, nee von Kamecke (born November 11, 1788), the daughter of the Prussian Colonel George Friedrich von Kamecke. The sons Constantin , Wilhelm and Theodor emerged from the marriage.

Wilhelm von Zedlitz-Neukirch did military service and retired as a major from the Prussian army. From 1818 to 1857 he was district administrator in the Schönau district and most recently held the title of secret government councilor. He was a member of the Provincial Parliament of the Province of Silesia and was a member of the First and Second United Parliament . He was the master of Hermannswaldau and Rosenau. He was state elder of the principalities of Jauer and Schweidnitz and knight of the St Johanitter order.
