Wilhelm von der Beck

Wilhelm von der Beck (born March 2, 1855 in Stade , † September 17, 1914 in Züllichau ) was a German administrative lawyer.

Life

Von der Beck was born in Stade as the son of the consistorial councilor and landscape councilor of the Bremen knighthood , Otto von der Beck (1824–1871) and his wife Bertha Blomeyer (1830–1870). He studied law in Heidelberg and Berlin and was a member of the Corps Vandalia in Heidelberg . In 1878 he passed the trainee exam in Berlin, and in 1881 the assessor exam in Stade. He got his first job as a government assessor in Minden . From 1888 to 1914 he was District Administrator of the Züllichau district . He was given the title of Privy Councilor.

He married Olinka Karoline Amalie von Zimmermann on June 16, 1889 (born February 19, 1861). The marriage was childless.
