The Will Point is a headland on the north coast of South Georgia . It is located 6 km west of Cape Charlotte at the head of Royal Bay .
A German research group around the astronomer Carl Schrader mapped them in the course of the First International Polar Year (1882-1883). The South Georgia Survey re- mapped as part of its survey campaign , which ran from 1951 to 1957. The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named them in 1958 after the German botanist Hermann Will (1852 / 53–1930), who was involved in the German expedition between 1882 and 1883.
