Willard Tibbetts

Willard Tibbetts ( Willard Lewis Tibbetts Jr .; born March 26, 1903 in South Boston , Massachusetts , † March 28, 1992 in Brewster , Massachusetts) was an American long-distance runner .

In the team race over 3000 m of the 1924 Olympic Games in Paris, he came in twelfth place (taking into account the struck results, 11th place) and won bronze with the US team.

As a student at Harvard University , he became an IC4A two- mile master in 1925 and 1926 .
