Willi Kraus (soccer player, 1926)

Willi Kraus (born December 3, 1926 in Frankfurt-Eckenheim ; † May 28, 1993 ), called Scheppe Kraus , was a German football player.

Willi Kraus grew up in Frankfurt am Main and learned to play football at the northern district club Viktoria Eckenheim . From 1946 to 1952 he played for Eintracht Frankfurt in the soccer Oberliga Süd , where he scored 43 goals in 101 games and was nicknamed "The Goal Maker". After a season at Alemannia Aachen , he went hunting for goals for FSV Frankfurt from 1953 to 1957 . Willi Kraus finally let his career end with Prussia Frankfurt .

He was the father of footballer Wolfgang Kraus .
