Willi Lojewski

Willi Heinrich Lojewski (born May 2, 1924 , † April 9, 2008 in Hann. Münden ) - was a German trade unionist .

Life

He had been a member of the SPD since the early 1950s . From 1975 to 1987 he was chairman of the horticulture, agriculture and forestry union (GGLF).

Lojewski was particularly committed to providing social security for employees through the establishment of supplementary benefits in agriculture and forestry.

He was Chairman of the Administrative Council of the Federal Employment Agency and held other functions in associations. He served as President of the European Federation of Agricultural Workers 'Unions, Vice-President of the International Federation of Agricultural Workers' Unions and a member of the Economic and Social Committee of the European Communities.
