Willi Rausch

Willi Rausch (born June 3, 1936 in Besse ; † January 16, 2015 there ) was a German politician ( SPD ) and a member of the Hessian state parliament .

education and profession

In 1951, after attending primary school, Willi Rausch joined the Deutsche Bundespost as a telegraph construction apprentice and had worked there as a civil servant since 1962.

Rausch had been a member of the Deutsche Postgewerkschaft since 1951 and a member of the local administration in Kassel since 1976. Since 1978 he was a member of the Hesse district board of the German postal union. In 1973 he became a member of the staff council at the Kassel telecommunications office, where he was released in 1976 and chairman of the staff council in 1982.

Willi Rausch was married and had one child.

politics

Willi Rausch had been a member of the SPD since 1955. From 1966 to 1976 he was a member of the SPD sub-district executive and since 1974 chairman of the SPD local association in Edermünde-Besse. From 1974 to 1983 he was parliamentary group leader of the SPD in the municipality of Edermünde, from 1964 to 1974 a member of the Fritzlar-Homberg district assembly .

On January 25, 1984, he replaced Radko Stöckl in the Hessian state parliament, to which he belonged for three more terms until April 4, 1995.
