Willi Richt (born September 9, 1912 ; † unknown) was a German football player .

career

Richt, who was used in the position of the left runner and the center runner, played for SpVgg Cannstatt until round 1936/37 . With Cannstatt he was promoted to the Gauliga Württemberg in 1934/35 . Between 1937 and 1947, Richt was active for VfB Stuttgart . In his first season at VfB, 1937/38, he won the championship in Württemberg and thus made it into the final round of the German championship. There he completed all six group games against BC Hartha, Fortuna Düsseldorf and Vorwärts Rasensport Gleiwitz. VfB took third place in the final round. Four runner-up championships followed from 1939 to 1942 before winning the second title in 1943. But after the 3-0 home defeat against South German rivals TSV 1860 Munich, the final round ended after just one game. He completed seven games for VfB in the finals for the German championship . He played several times alongside the Stuttgart kicker stars Edmund Conen and Albert Sing in the Württemberg Gau selection. In the Oberliga Süd , Richt came to a total of 53 games with VfB after the Second World War. Willi Richt belongs -26 league games- of the VfB team in the 1945/46 round, which won the first league title on June 23, 1946 in the Oberliga Süd against 1. FC Nürnberg on the last day of the game. The coach was Fritz Teufel and Robert Schlienz won the top scorer's crown with 42 goals. In the summer of 1947 he ended his playing career and took over as coach of TSG Oehringen. In 1953, Richt became a trainer at Sportfreunde Esslingen .
