Willi Zimmermann

Willi Zimmermann (born June 5, 1907 , † April 4, 1998 ) was a German building officer and local researcher . He was the head of the city planning office in Heilbronn and published numerous publications on Heilbronn's history .

Live and act

Since 1936 he was a graduate engineer , from 1940 building officer and from 1940 to 1944 in the Second World War in military service. From 1954 to 1971 he was head of the city planning office. Zimmermann founded the department Neckar navigation of the City Museums Heilbronn and created in 1980, the planning for the permanent exhibition at the Old Dairy Farm .

From 1953 to 1968 Zimmermann was chairman of the Heilbronn song wreath.

family

He was born with Eleonore ("Lore"). Widmann (born August 16, 1907; † June 3, 2008) married.

Awards

In 1982 he received the Golden Mint of the City of Heilbronn and in 1988 the Federal Cross of Merit on ribbon .
