William Alfred Cook (born January 27, 1931 in Matton , Illinois , † April 15, 2011 ) was an American entrepreneur .

Life

Cook studied biology at Northwestern University . He founded the US medical technology company Cook Group . According to Forbes Magazine , Cook was one of the richest Americans and was listed in The World's Billionaires in 2005 . Cook was married with one child, and his family lived in Bloomington , Indiana .
