William Booth (born September 30, 1880 in Handforth , † 1951 ) was an English football player .
Career
Booth came in late December 1900 to two missions for Newton Heath in the Football League Second Division . As a left winger , a position previously mostly John Grundy held, he made his debut on December 26 ( Boxing Day ) with a 4: 0 win against FC Blackpool and worked three days later even with a 3: 0 win over Glossop with . Despite the two successes played on New Year's Day against Middlesbrough FC James Fisher , who kept his place in the team until the end of the season. Nothing is known about Booth's whereabouts.
