William Corkine
William Corkine ( bl. 1610-1617) was an English composer , lutenist and gambist of the Renaissance period . In the 1610s he was in private service. His first work Ayres to Sing and Play to the Lute and Basse-Viollin appeared in 1610, the Second Booke of Ayres, some to sing and play to the Basse-Violl alone: others to be sung to the Lute and Bass Viollin in 1612. In 1617 he traveled to Poland .
