William Perez

William D. Perez (born September 10, 1947 in Akron , Ohio , USA ) was Nike's Chief Executive Officer from December 28, 2004 to January 2006 . He is also a member of the board at Kellogg .

He received his Bachelor of Arts from Cornell University in 1969 and graduated from the American Graduate School of International Management in 1970 and started at SC Johnson & Son, Inc. in Racine , Wisconsin. From 1997 to 2004 he was CEO and President there. In 1999 he became a member of the board of directors of Kellogg Company , where he is a member of the audit committee and the marketing committee.

In December 2004 he succeeded Phil Knight at Nike. He resigned in January 2006 and was followed by Mark Parker .

Since October 2006 he has been Chief Executive Officer of Wm. Wrigley Jr. Company .
