William Henry (actor)
William Albert Henry (born November 10, 1914 in Los Angeles , California - † August 10, 1982 ) was an American actor .
Life
Between 1925, his first film at the age of eleven, and 1964, William Henry made a total of 230 film and television appearances. Henry made his first film experiences as a child actor and then played an annoying teenager at the side of William Powell and Myrna Loy in the classic film The Thin Man in 1934 . Later, Henry was offered mainly leading and supporting roles in B-movies, mostly westerns. He ended his career as a character actor with mostly minor appearances.
Henry also starred in many television series from the 1950s and was a member of the John Ford Stock Company , a group of actors that John Ford liked to use for his films. Henry worked with Ford in twelve films. His brother was the actor Thomas Browne Henry . William Henry was married twice and had three children.
