William Henry foreman
William Henry Werkmeister (also Wilhelm Heinrich Gustav Werkmeister ; born August 10, 1901 in Asendorf, Germany; † November 24, 1993 in Tallahassee , USA) was a German- born American historian and philosopher who worked in Los Angeles .
In his writings, Werkmeister dealt with Plato , Immanuel Kant and Martin Heidegger, among others .
The William H. and Lucyle T. Werkmeister Eminent Scholar Chair at Florida State University is named after him and his wife Lucyle T. Werkmeister .
Werkmeister's manuscripts were published posthumously in Werkmeister Studies (WS).
