William Joseph Winter
William Joseph Winter (born May 20, 1930 in Pittsburgh ) is auxiliary bishop emeritus in Pittsburgh .
Life
William Joseph Winter was ordained a priest on December 17, 1955 .
Pope John Paul II appointed him titular bishop of Uthina and auxiliary bishop in Pittsburgh on December 21, 1988 . The episcopal ordination donated him the Bishop of Pittsburgh, Donald William Wuerl , on February 13 of the next year; Co-consecrators were the auxiliary bishops Anthony Gerard Bosco and John Bernard McDowell .
On May 20, 2005, Pope Benedict XVI. his age-related retirement.
