William Vukelić (born September 29, 1998 in Rijeka ) is a Croatian ski racer .

Career

Vukelić started skiing together with his brother at the age of five and competed in international junior races from November 2014. First at national level, but from December also at FIS races in the United States . From the middle of the month he was part of the starting field in the Alpine Nor-Am-Cup . In Panorama , however, he clearly missed a good position in the first two races and therefore did not compete in the other races. In the following FIS races on the same track, he was tenth in the second race. In February 2015, he made it onto the podium for the first time in Maribor . He had previously competed in the giant slalom race at the 2015 Alpine World Ski Championships in Beaver Creek and finished in 45th place. In March Vukelić started at the national championships in Bansko, Bulgaria, and achieved two good top 10 placements with 10th place in slalom and sixth in giant slalom.
