Willibald Wex
Willibald Wex (born July 12, 1831 in Karlstein am Main , † March 29, 1892 in Munich ) was a German landscape painter.
Willibald Wex originally worked as a forester. He studied at the Royal Academy of Arts in Munich with Richard Zimmermann .
After graduating in 1858, he stayed in Munich. Since 1866 he exhibited his works in the Munich Art Association and in the Munich Glass Palace . Willibald Wex mainly created alpine landscapes.
His son was the painter Adalbert Wex .
