Willie Adams
Willie Adams (born June 22, 1934 in Fort Chimo , Québec ) is a Canadian politician of the Liberal Party . He was a member of the Canadian Senate from April 5, 1977 to June 22, 2009 .
Adams was born in Fort Chimo, Québec in 1934. 1970 to 1974 the businessman and trained electrician was a member of the Northwest Territories Council . In 1977 he was proposed as a senator by Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau . There he represented the Northwest Territories until 1999 . After 1999, Adams represented the Nunavut Territory.
Adams is married with 10 children.
