William "Willie" Adcock (* 1st quarter 1879 in Beighton or Cudworth ; † unknown) was an English football player .

Career

Adcock came in the 1900 season break from local club Ecclesfield FC to Barnsley FC in the Football League Second Division . There he was on October 6 against Stockport County as a substitute for at Chesterfield Town exchanged Percy Turner his debut, but it was followed by only a further application in the same month against Gainsborough Trinity before he only came to appearances for the reserve team. In December 1903 he successfully requested the Committee of the Football League for a free transfer and subsequently joined Grimsby Town , for whose first team he did not appear.
