Life

Williamson was also the one who took Love to Trumpet Records . There Love played the piano for the first recordings.

Between 1951 and 1953 Love recorded records under his own name with Trumpet. Elmore James played the guitar while recording Everybody's Fishing , his most successful track . Little Milton played on later recordings . His last recording session was in April 1953. During this session he played with a white bass player, which was a rarity at the time in Mississippi, the state with the strictest segregation . In August 1953 he died of the consequences of his long-term alcoholism. He is buried in Elmwood Cemetery in Jackson.

On the CD Greenville Smokin ' in 2000 the still existing recordings Loves were released.
