Willigard Kultz

Sister Willigard Dinasevika Kultz DSS (* as Anna Kultz on May 26, 1931 in Herten - Bertlich ; † May 6, 2010 in Bangalore , India) was Superior General of the Dinasevanasabha - servants of the poor .

Life

Born Anna Kultz, she entered the order of the Olper Franciscan Sisters in 1951 . In 1975 she left her order and came to help her sick friend Petra Mönnigmann in India . From 1976 to 1989 she was Superior General of the Servants of the Poor. She paid special attention to caring for children infected with HIV.

On August 25, 2007 she was honored with the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany for her extraordinary services and her selfless commitment .
