Willy Dittmar (born July 31, 1910 ; † after 1949) was a German soccer player who played in the highest East German soccer league in 1949 for BSG KWU Erfurt .

Athletic career

As of the end of World War II in Erfurt the SG Erfurt-West took part in the first territorial narrow football competitions, she had in 1948 when they Erfurt county championship in their ranks and the 38-year-old striker Willi Dittmar. A year later the team called itself SG Fortuna Erfurt and won the Thuringian football championship with Dittmar . So she was eligible to participate in the East Zone Championship in 1949 . As a runner-up, the Erfurters got the right to start the East German soccer zone league (later DS-Oberliga, GDR-Oberliga ), with which the East German soccer champions were determined from 1949/50. Although Dittmar was 39 years old at the start of the season, Erfurt, who had restructured themselves as BSG KWU, took him into their league line-up. He was also used in the first league game, then played on the fourth day of play, and was also part of the team in league games 7 - 9.
