Willy Maeyens (born June 5, 1989 in Péronne ) is a French football goalkeeper .

Career

Maeyens was in the youth squad of AJ Auxerre from 2003 and was used in the second team from 2007. In the same year he made his debut in a 2-2 win against Greece for the French U-19 team , which was followed by another assignment for the French U-20s . Nevertheless, he did not make the jump to the first team at Auxerre and was loaned to third division club RC Besançon in 2011 . There he was the first goalkeeper. After his return to Auxerre, he was still used for the second team, but was occasionally on the bench in the first selection. On January 25, 2013, he came on for Olivier Sorin in the 15th minute of the 1-1 draw against Le Mans FC , making his professional debut in Ligue 2 .

In the summer of 2013 he moved to the fifth division CS Sedan ; there he was given the regular seat between the posts. In 2014 he was promoted to fourth class.
