Willy Oskar Dressler

Willy Oskar Dressler (born April 25, 1876 in Berlin ; † November 7, 1954 in Endeholz, part of Scharnhorst ) was a German painter and interior designer who dealt with the visual and applied arts.

Among other things, he was from 1906 to 1913 Dressler's Art Yearbook and its continuation from 1920 to 1934 Dressler's Art Guide , which is known technically as just "the Dressler" out and in particular is an important reference book on the art market with the extensive recent issues.

Dressler was a member of the Reich Association of Fine Artists of Germany , the General German Art Cooperative , the Berlin Art Association and chairman of the main and working committee of the Reich Art Weeks .
