Wilma Thiele
Wilma Thiele (born September 18, 1909 in Hamburg ; † July 24, 1982 ) was a German nurse and member of the Hamburg citizenship for the SPD .
First years
After an apprenticeship as a clerk , Wilma Thiele trained as a state-certified nurse from 1928 and worked in this profession until 1931. During the war she was used as a Red Cross nurse . In the years 1946 and 1947 she found a job as an office assistant.
politics
In 1946 Wilma Thiele joined the SPD. The housewife exercised various functions within the party: from district delegate to member of the SPD state executive.
In 1961 she became a member of the Hamburg parliament. Her particular interests there were consumer and women's politics. After leaving the citizenry in 1970, she continued to work in political committees, including the working group of social democratic women .
Wilma Thiele died in 1982. Her grave is in the Ohlsdorf cemetery in Hamburg in grid square BK 57 (east of the T-pond ).
