He found his first recognition in his home country in 2010. In the same year he exhibited in the Museum of Barquisimeto and in the Museum of Modern Art Juan Astorga Anta of Mérida .

During his Serenissima exhibition in Venice , he met the Italian designer Piero Massaro, who, based on his paintings, started an eyewear fashion series marketed as Collezione WH . Another eyewear fashion line , Fusioni ottiche , was released in 2011.

In 2011 he exhibited his optical fusions in the MACZUL Museum of Maracaibo, the Museum of Barquisimeto, in Venice and in a Paris gallery.

His technique is based on the line and the color with which he creates optical illusions that develop according to the distance. This technique is based on the juxtaposition of unmixed colors on the canvas and the optical illusion to create a sense of depth.

A new movement included the paintings exhibited in 2011 called Fusion optique (“optical fusions”). These pictures are in the tradition of Venezuelan painting of the twentieth century.
