The Wilson Glacier is a 15 km long glacier in the East Antarctic Kempland . It flows in a northeasterly direction to the Edward VIII Ice Shelf , which it reaches immediately south of the Seaton Glacier .
Aerial photographs of the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions from 1956 were used for mapping purposes. The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia named him after Hugh Overend Wilson (1924-1959), Lieutenant in the Royal Australian Air Force and pilot at Mawson Station in 1958, who died in an airplane accident shortly after his return to Australia .
