The Seaton Glacier is a 27 km long glacier in the East Antarctic Kempland . It flows in a southeastern direction to the northwestern part of Edward VIII Bay , where it joins the Edward VIII Ice Shelf .

Norwegian cartographers mapped it using aerial photographs from the Lars Christensen expedition in 1936/37 . Scientists from the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions re- mapped between 1954 and 1958. The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia (ANARE) named him in 1958 after Lieutenant John Alex Seaton (* 1927) of the Royal Australian Air Force , pilot of the ANARE flights in 1956 from Mawson Station .
