The Wilson River is a river in the northeast of the Australian state of Western Australia . It is in the Kimberley region .

geography

The river has its source on the eastern slopes of Kangaroo Hill in the southern Durack Ranges , at the Bedford Downs settlement around 109 kilometers north of Halls Creek . From there it first flows northeast to the Crocodile Hole settlement . There it turns its course to the southeast and flows into the Bow River at the Great Northern Highway .
