Win Your Song ( WYS for short ) is a German music show that has been broadcast on the private broadcaster ProSieben since November 15, 2018. The moderator of the show is Joko Winterscheidt .
Structure of the program
season 1
Two musicians compete against each other in a duel and have to win as many instruments as possible through small competitions. The one who loses the duel only receives a "Win Your Song instrument" - this is either an instrument for children or an own creation to remind of the instrument to be replaced. First of all, one musician struggles for his instruments before he then plays his song. In order to recognize the difference, the song is first played true to the original for 60 seconds until the instrument is changed. This pass is repeated for the second musician. In the end, the audience votes on the winner. The one who receives the loudest applause will be awarded the "golden tuning fork in silver" for his victory. The shows were shown in the late prime.
season 2
ProSieben announced a second season, which this time will be shown in prime time .
background
The idea of the show was already presented by Winterscheidt in an episode of the best show in the world under the name Earn Your Song , with which he finally won the evening's overall victory. Even before this episode was broadcast, the production of the offshoot was announced and tickets for the recordings were sold, at that time still under the working title.
