Windach is a part of the municipality of Moorenweis in the Upper Bavarian district of Fürstenfeldbruck . The hamlet is about one kilometer north of Moorenweis.
history
Since the 12th century, servants of the Counts of Andechs appeared in Windach , who named themselves after the place. In the 14th century the Rehlinger family are proven to be the owners of the place. This was followed by the Schmiecher von Helmishofen knights .
In 1442 Windach was called Hofmark . In 1537 Christoph von Schmiechen sold the Hofmark Mitter- and Unterwindach together with the castle stables to Melchior Sytter and his wife Constantia, née Peutinger. In 1558 Carl Wolfgang Rehlinger became the owner of the Hofmark through marriage. Franz Füll, a citizen and trader in Munich, bought the property in 1596. The descendants owned the property until 1825, which then went to Baron Max Joseph von Pfetten by will .
