The Korschenbroich-Süd wind farm is located south of Lüttenglehn in the southeast of the urban area of Korschenbroich . It consists of six wind turbines . The wind power concentration zone is located on the border with Neuss and is directly adjacent to the Neuss wind farm .
history
The first four wind turbines were built in 2008 by Solarparc AG . There are four Enercon E-82 wind turbines with an output of 2.0 MW each. Approval was given in February 2006, but the construction could not be implemented earlier due to delivery problems. The contracts between the property owner and the operator are concluded for a term of 20 years, with the option of a five-year extension.
An expansion of the wind farm was planned in the following years. In 2010 it was assumed that there would be an expansion by three wind turbines. In 2012, two more wind turbines were built by WSW Energiesysteme GmbH .
technology
The six wind turbines have a total installed capacity of 12.6 MW.
