Winfried Dornschneider
Winfried Dornschneider (* 1921 in Gelsenkirchen-Schalke ; † June 9, 1997 in Möhnesee ) was a German author , provost at St. Patrokli zu Soest, former military pastor and cathedral chapter .
Life
Winfried Dornschneider was born in Gelsenkirchen-Schalke ; his mother came from Bad Sassendorf . After completing military training in a barracks in Soest, he became a soldier in World War II. He was released from captivity in 1949 and returned to Soest.
Dorn Schneider received after his philosophical and theological education in 1953 in Paderborn the priesthood . He was vicar in Röhlinghausen and from 1957 to 1960 President of the Kolping family there . He was pastor of the Holy Spirit Church in Iserlohn and dean of the Iserlohn deanery. In 1981 he was invested in the Knightly Order of the Holy Sepulcher in Jerusalem in Cologne Cathedral .
From 1982 to 1996 he was provost at St. Patrokli zu Soest .
Winfried Dornschneider published some books.
