Marcus Winson

Winson (actually Marcus Winson; born March 4, 1975 in Frankfurt am Main ) is a German musician and radio host.

Winson is originally from Frankfurt am Main. After moving to Berlin, he first worked as a bartender in the Neukölln bar Ankerklause. He was temporarily employed by the band Beatsteaks as a videochronist.

His single, What does Peter live on in Berlin jargon ? developed not least because of the catchy line of text “Schicket Auto! Schicket Auto, Alta! ”And thanks to the massive support of Radio Fritz it became a local hit, which was repeated a short time later in North Rhine-Westphalia by Radio Eins Live before the album was released. The second single Liebeskummer is' Luxus continued the success. The following albums What the Future Looked Like and Ask the Right People! were produced by Olaf OPAL , who has worked with The Notwist , Phillip Boa and Die Sterne , among others .

After Universal took over v2 records, the contract with Winson was not taken over.

In 2012 he was involved in the album SOS - Save Olli Schulz by Olli Schulz .

Winson currently works as a radio host for Flux FM .
