Winemaker's choir
In a vintner's choir , the focus is on the wine and the vines. As a rule, it is the winemakers themselves who maintain the bond with viticulture and the songs about wine.
The few wine choirs in Germany come from areas with an established winemaking tradition such as those in Baden-Württemberg , Rheinhessen , Thuringia or Saxony . In Austria there are wine choirs in Weiden am See and in Baden near Vienna , where the winegrowers provide musical accompaniment to the opening event for the Grape Cure Weeks every year.
