Wisi Betschart (born May 27, 1976 in South Lake Tahoe , California ) is a retired American ski racer .

During his career, Betschart specialized in the fast downhill and super-G disciplines. He joined the American ski team at the age of 16 and stayed that way for ten years. His greatest success as a youth was fourth place at the 1995 World Youth Championships .

In the adult sector he never made his breakthrough to the top of the world. He competed in a total of eight World Cup races from 1995 to 2002 . Once, at the Super-G in Aspen (Colorado) in 1998, he reached the World Cup points with 30th place. Betschart also competed primarily in the Nor-Am Cup . In 2001, he won a Super-G in Lake Louise and made two more podiums.

Since the end of his skiing career, he has been working as a real estate agent on Lake Tahoe.
