The Wisseler See is an artificially created bathing lake in the Kalkar district of Wissel in the Kleve district in North Rhine-Westphalia .
Originally created by gravel dredging , the Wisseler See is now primarily a well-frequented lido. The water quality is consistently classified as excellent, so that in 1990 the lake was the first German inland body of water to be awarded the European Union's environmental symbol, the European Blue Flag .

At the edge of the lake there is a fine sandy beach and several sunbathing areas. The lido also offers a sailing, surfing and diving school, boat and surfboard rental, a large water slide, several playgrounds, beach volleyball fields, a soccer field, a kiosk and a snack bar.
Furthermore, visitors to the lake can spend the night on the campsite with 900 parking spaces located directly on the lake ; a holiday home area is under development.
