Vitaly Michailowitsch Bujanowski
Vitaly Mikhailovich Bujanowski ( Russian Виталий Михайлович Буяновский ; born August 27, 1928 in Leningrad , † May 5, 1993 in Saint Petersburg ) was a Russian horn player , music professor and composer , the son of Mikhail Bujanowski .
Bujanowski was the son of Michail Bujanowski . He was principal horn with the Leningrad Philharmonic . He has also performed as a soloist in various orchestras and as a chamber musician. In a memorable concert in 1970 he performed four horn concerts by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart , his Rondo (E flat major) and the fragment in E major in a single evening.
As a teacher, he shaped a whole generation of Russian horn players.
After his death in 1993, a festival was held in his honor at the Vienna Opera, where his recording of Rossini's theme and variations in the dark was listened to.
