Wittenberg brewery
The Wittenberger Brauhaus is a listed building in Lutherstadt Wittenberg in Saxony-Anhalt . It is currently (as of 2016) not used as a brewery .

It is located west of the old town of Lutherstadt Wittenberg on the north side of the street Am alten Bahnhof at 33 Am alten Bahnhof . To the west is the Gasthaus Schweizer Garten , to the east is the Villa Am alten Bahnhof 34 .
Architecture and history
The brewery building was built in 1902 by Paul Unger in the historicist style as a brick building. It is considered a good example of the historicizing industrial architecture of the Wilhelminian era . From 1919 the brewery had a bar in the neighboring Gasthaus Schweizer Garten.
The brewery is listed in the local monument register under registration number 094 35705 as a monument .
