The Wjala ( Russian Вяла ) is the largest tributary of the Umba on the Kola Peninsula in Murmansk Oblast in Russia .

The Wjala forms the 37 km long runoff of the 98.6 km² large and 116  m high lake Wjalosero to the Umba. It flows in a westerly direction and flows from the left into the Umba 15 km before it flows into the White Sea . It flows through a sparsely populated forest and swamp landscape. The largest tributaries are Lyamuksa, Vilovataja, Pechema and Ukko.
