Wjasowe ( Ukrainian В'язове ; Russian Вязовое Vjasowoje ) is a village in the west of the Ukrainian Oblast Sumy with about 1000 inhabitants (2004).

Vyazowe is on the left bank of the Jesutsch ( Єзуч ), a 57 km long tributary of the Seim and on the territorial road T – 19–10 . The district center of Konotop is 17 km west and the Oblast center Sumy 125 km southeast of the village.

The village is the administrative center of the district council of the same name in Konotop district , to which the villages Shyhailivka ( Жигайлівка ), about 45 inhabitants, Sowynka ( Совинка ), about 110 inhabitants and Chervonyj Yar ( Червоний Яр ), about 120 inhabitants belong.

Personalities
